Free Apps and Websites

Some great free apps and websites that I use daily are:

My Fitness Pal: www.myfitnesspal.com -- This app syncs your daily calories and exercise between your smartphone and computer. There is a barcode scanner that lets you shoot the food label of a product instantly. You can also track weight and measurements and your goals are established in your profile when you first sign up.

Runkeeper:  www.runkeeper.com -- This syncs between a phone and computer too. The fun part of this one is that it not only measures and records your walk/run but you can also opt to use GPS coordinates to track your exact path. When using a treadmill, you can enter workouts manually.

Calorie Count:  www.calorie-count.com -- Before switching to My Fitness Pal I used this one for months to track calories. This site seems to have more reliable calorie data than My Fitness Pal but doesn't remember favorites as easily and doesn't let you customize your planner as well.
